Studio 13’s Studio Guide answers most frequently asked questions we get about our space to better inform your about the space and our processes. We also include a list of house rules that should be followed while using our facility.
Frequently Asked Questions
Got it booked? Here’s what to keep in mind:
- Consider unexpected delays. In order to get the most out of your booking, give yourself enough time to consider unexpected delays due to traffic, clients, weather conditions or any other factors.
- Double check your booking date and time to avoid cancellations or the need to reschedule.
- Book with enough time to accomplish what you need. Whether it’s additional time for event set up prior to it starting, or scheduling a photographer with enough time to take advantage of all the studio has to offer.
- Be mindful of your booking time and be wrapped up in time for the next guest to use the space.
Do you allow tours?
Yes, of course! Please give us a call or send an email to schedule a viewing.
How do I get in the space?
The building entrance is a glass double door. On the left side of the doors is an intercom with keypad where you enter your access code to enter the building. Your access code will only work during your scheduled booking time.
When do I get the code to check in the space?
Once you have booked your appointment you will be given a keypad code to enter the space. It will be sent via email/text only the day before your session or 1 hour before the day of.
Can I come earlier than my scheduled time?
Unfortunately, no. We want to respect all booked appointments and do not allow early entry. When selecting a rental duration during the booking process, please consider the arrival, set-up, and break-down times of your project.
What is the difference between a General Booking and a Private Booking?
General Booking allows a maximum of two bookings to obtain the studio. An additional guest could book at the same time. There are times when you may be the only guest. There is a risk of the other booking utilizing your desired space or props.
Private Booking grants the entire studio to the booking party. There will be no other guests in the entire space throughout your rental. This will allow an exclusive session and an unrestricted selection of studio spaces and props.
There is someone still in the studio and my time is next what should I do?
It’s very common for artists to lose track of time. Feel free to enter the room and politely let the guest know you are here for your designated booking. Always use your best judgement and if in doubt, please contact us!
Is food allowed?
We have no issues with clients catering food or simply bringing in a lunch during their project. We only ask that any messes be cleaned prior to the end of your scheduled time. We DO NOT allow the consumption of alcohol without PRIOR expressed (written) consent by a team member.
How do I reschedule my appointment?
Please feel free to reschedule by canceling and rebooking at an available time.
What happens if I need more time?
If you need more time, please utilize the booking process to see if the additional time desired is available. Unfortunately, if the time is not available you will not be able to extend your booking.
Does the studio have a restroom?
Yes, the studio has two private restrooms.
What happens if there is a mess in the studio at my arrival?
As a self-check in studio, there can be accidents or users that have abused the space. If there is anything you feel needs to be fixed with the space, please let us know immediately as we appreciate your cooperation.
